Preloader installed on our home page

A preloader certainly makes a site more user-friendly to those with slower connections.  I made this custom loader.swf a separate file from the main flash video, and gave it a transparent background by using the “wmode value=transparent” parameter setting for the flash object.  I used our logo design with one of the bottom bars as a “status bar” that grows based on the percent of the video loaded into the browser.  Although flash videos with transparent backgrounds are cool, they aren’t compatible with all web browsers.
