Facebook and Twitter Automatically UpdatedWe created a Twitter account and a Facebook account for Home Assist Senior Care of Buffalo, NY when we created their website.  These allow people to connect to your company and interact with it in the modern social way.  Whenever someone ‘likes’ or ‘follows’ your company, the search engines perceive it as a reason to consider increasing your site’s rank in search results.  Whenever a new article is written on HomeAssistSeniorCare.com, several different websites are notified in a completely automatic way.

  1. The website notifies Pingomatic.com, which subsequently notifies about 15 different search engines.
  2. The website notifies Bitly.com, which creates a shortened URL for the post.
  3. Bitly.com sends a ‘tweet’ to their Twitter.com account containing a short segment of the post and a link.
  4. Twitter.com notifies everyone who is ‘following’ their username about the ‘tweet’.
  5. Twitter.com sends the ‘tweet’ to their Facebook.com account and adds it to their ‘timeline’.
  6. Facebook.com notifies everyone who ‘liked’ them about the new blog post.
  7. The website displays all the latest ‘tweets’ on the home page (up to 5), where people can interact or ‘re-tweet’ them.
